Dr Michael Cowan is a psychologist and theologian and for more than 25 years a leader of interracial and interfaith community organizing in New Orleans, especially since founding the Common Good network after Hurricane Katrina. He is Professor in the Institute for Ministry, Loyola University New Orleans; and a Visiting Research Fellow of the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College, Dublin.
