Hammad Sheikh is a postdoctoral research fellow at the New School for Social Research and the Center on Terrorism (CUNY). He received a Psycholgie Diplom (equivalent to MSc) from the Free University of Berlin in 2008 and a PhD in social psychology from the New School for Social Research in 2014.
