Anil Ramachandran Menon is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, USA. Having previously studied at Middlebury College in Vermont (USA) and obtained his MSc in Economic History (with distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political he is currently conducting research on the thinking of former paramilitaries in Northern Ireland and on the Irish Peace Process. He is interested in the legacy of the Irish ‘Troubles’ and the shadow that it casts on the lives of individuals and communities as they try to move to a more peaceful future.
